Cinderella: Enchanted Edition is one of Rodgers & Hammerstein's musical retellings of the classic fairy tale.
Cinderella is a young woman forced to do all of the menial tasks in the home she shares with her cruel and cold-hearted stepmother and stepsisters.
Believing that their son Prince Christopher needs to find a woman to marry, King Maximillian and Queen Constantina invite every young maiden in the kingdom to a royal ball. Cinderella's stepmother and stepsisters go to the ball, selfishly leaving her behind to wish about how her life could be.
While she is daydreaming, she is visited by her fairy godmother, who makes it possible for her to go to the ball. And it is from this moment on that Cinderella's wishes all start to come true.
